Shipping Policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
1. Australian delivery
MERI-TAUI ships available ready-to-ship products from Adelaide, South Australia.
At launch, online checkout is available for delivery addresses within Australia only.
Our shipping arrangements are:
-
MERI-TAUI bags: Standard Australian delivery is included in the listed product price.
-
Standalone Deben Collection orders: Shipping is calculated at checkout.
-
Deben purchased with a qualifying bag: Standard Australian delivery is included.
-
Optional express shipping: Additional charges may apply when an express service is available and selected.
Any applicable delivery charges will be displayed before payment.
2. Order processing and dispatch
Orders are prepared for dispatch after successful payment confirmation.
Processing and dispatch estimates for available products will be displayed on the relevant product pages before they become available for purchase.
Customers will be notified if an unexpected issue significantly affects their order.
3. Delivery timeframes
Delivery estimates depend on the selected shipping service, destination and carrier.
Where available, estimated delivery timeframes will be displayed at checkout or communicated with the order confirmation.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates unless MERI-TAUI has expressly agreed to a specific delivery commitment.
Actual delivery may be affected by carrier disruptions, severe weather, public holidays, peak trading periods or remote-area services.
Nothing in this section limits a customer's rights under Australian Consumer Law.
4. Tracking
Where tracking is available, customers will receive tracking information using the contact details supplied at checkout.
Customers should ensure their delivery address and contact details are accurate.
If an address error is discovered, please contact cs@meri-taui.com.au promptly.
We will make reasonable efforts to assist with address corrections before dispatch.
Any additional reasonable delivery costs caused solely by incorrect information supplied by the customer will be discussed before being charged, subject to applicable law.
5. Delayed deliveries
If we become aware of a significant delivery delay, MERI-TAUI will aim to:
-
Notify the affected customer.
-
Provide updated tracking information or a revised delivery estimate where available.
-
Investigate the issue with the relevant carrier.
-
Explain available cancellation, refund or other options where required by law.
If an order is not delivered within a timeframe required by Australian Consumer Law or an applicable agreement, the customer may be entitled to an appropriate remedy.
MERI-TAUI does not provide automatic goodwill compensation for ordinary delivery delays. Additional goodwill arrangements may be considered individually and do not replace statutory entitlements.
6. Lost or missing parcels
If tracking indicates that a parcel may be lost, or an order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact MERI-TAUI.
We will investigate directly with the delivery carrier.
Where goods are lost in transit or delivery obligations have not been met, MERI-TAUI will provide the appropriate remedy, including replacement or refund where required by law.
Customers are not required to resolve carrier disputes independently to obtain remedies owed by MERI-TAUI.
7. Products damaged during delivery
If an order arrives damaged, please contact cs@meri-taui.com.au as soon as practical.
Where possible, include:
-
Your order number.
-
A description of the damage.
-
Photographs of the affected product.
-
Photographs of the packaging, if available.
Please retain the packaging where practical while the issue is assessed.
If damage occurred during delivery or the product fails applicable consumer guarantees, MERI-TAUI will arrange an appropriate remedy.
Where required, we will cover reasonable return shipping and the delivery costs of a repaired or replacement product.
These procedures do not limit rights under Australian Consumer Law.
8. Incorrect items
If you receive a product different from the one ordered, please contact us.
MERI-TAUI will investigate and arrange the appropriate correction, replacement or refund.
Where MERI-TAUI is responsible for an incorrect item, reasonable return and replacement delivery costs will be covered.
9. International delivery
International checkout is not available at launch.
Customers outside Australia may contact MERI-TAUI to enquire about an international purchase.
International orders are assessed individually.
Before accepting an international order, we will confirm in writing, where applicable:
-
Product availability.
-
Delivery destination and shipping charges.
-
Estimated delivery timeframe.
-
Customs duties, taxes and import responsibilities.
-
Any additional relevant conditions.
No international order is confirmed until the applicable terms have been agreed.
10. Order cancellations and returns
Standard ready-to-ship orders cancelled before dispatch qualify for a full refund, including delivery charges, without a cancellation fee.
After dispatch, eligible change-of-mind returns are handled according to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods remain subject to Australian Consumer Law regardless of our voluntary change-of-mind return conditions.
